chemistry fun

today i had my first cumulative examination at ucla. starting now, i'll be taking one of these every month until either i pass four of them, or have tried 12 times. and........i freaking nailed it!!! the topic was polymerizations, which is what i did my undergraduate research on. so i knew the material really well. i'm stoked, cause this means that no matter what, i can get my masters in chemistry. = )

nothing else really too exciting to report. just living the grad school life, which is pretty uneventful. (unless you really want to hear all about organic chemistry) hope everyone is doing well. and *hopefully* i'll find something else exciting to post about soon....

Back In LA

i know, i've been a TOTAL slacker, and haven't posted regularly......what can i say? grad school broke my spirit.

the good news is that i had a wonderful 2 week break. and i didn't think about chemistry at all. woo hoo!! i got to spend lots of time with my family, and i even got to spend new year's in vegas, the happiest place on earth!! = )

now i'm back in LA, and the stress has returned. i thought last quarter was insane, but i have a feeling it'll be nothing compared to this quarter. *sigh*. basically, i'm trying to say it was nice knowing you all. = )
